TOP 8 THINGS TO DO IN KLUANG

In actuality, there are plenty of things in Kluang that are just waiting for you to explore! Eco-farm tours are a great way to learn more about how food is produced, and some organic farms provide them!

Check out the list below for a ton of additional interesting things to do in Kluang!

The Top 8 Things to Do in Kluang

1. Kluang Mall

This is the best area to go shopping in Kluang out of all the places you should visit!

The large, contemporary mall's atriums periodically hold events and exhibitions (see their website for details).

In addition, there are five floors altogether, without counting the basement or lower level. And get this: 160 specialty retail stores spread throughout nearly 348k square feet!

Which consist of:
  • H&M
  • Popular Bookstore
  • Uniqlo
  • Pacific Hypermarket & Department Store is the main anchor
  • Mika Premium Gift Shop (lower ground) – Pick up some locally-made Mika Charcoal & Milk Swiss Rolls! Beware that these spoil very easily in hot weather!

Go for lunch at Kluang Food Street, the mall's renowned food court, while you are on the bottom level.

Do you want to see a movie? MBO Cinemas is the solution.

Or you could visit Ampang Super Bowl, which is located on the mall's third floor, to enjoy bowling!

2. Kluang Street Art (Bat Town)

There's a surprisingly beautiful Kluang attraction downtown!

This is, of course, none other than Kluang's vibrant mural street!

Provided by Tripadvisor

On Jalan Dato Teoh Siew Khor's back lanes and passageways, there are roughly twenty-four distinct wall murals and pieces of 3D art.

A brief history of the murals:
  • The paintings are the outcome of a local government initiative to bring in both domestic and foreign artists to contribute to Kluang's beautification!
  • The several imaginative murals feature a range of traditional Malaysian themes, as well as local fare, coffee, and—surprisingly—bats!
  • Why Are They Bats? Since the native fruit bats, known as keluang in Malay, are responsible for Kluang's name.

It takes an hour or more to truly comprehend the amount of work that the artists have put into revitalizing the old street!
And there are plenty of charming little cafes and shops to quench your thirst if you feel the need!
