Mr. Wong Ah Sing, the proprietor of Yong Peng Duck Noodles (also known as Gerai Mee Daging Itik Yong Peng), started the company over 35 years ago with his wife. In Yong Peng, Johor, these duck noodles are the best.



Their specialty dish is the Hokkien-style "Braised Duck," which is served here with a rich sauce made of herbs. The braised duck is darker than the Teochew-style braised duck and has a stronger scent.

They use a proprietary recipe to prepare their "Braised Ducks." The ducks are braised for at least three hours using over twenty ingredients of Chinese herbs and spices combined in particular ratios to bring forth a distinct unusual taste.
